Last year the Youth at Praise Power 2003 encountered an experience like never before. Minister Anthony Williams also known as Tonéx is no stranger to Praise Power but he took the Youth by storm. His style of the character Neo from the Matrix caught everyone’s attention as he entered into the pulpit on Friday night.
From the moment he took the mic, the youth were on their feet for a full energetic service. His versatile delivery kept the youth desiring more. He talked about the topics that challenge our youth such as – peer pressure, drugs, homosexuality and promiscuity.
After ministering the Word, Tonéx began to minister to those at the altar. It was a dynamic experience to witness youth giving their lives to God and being delivered. And when you thought it was over - Tonéx led a caravan of youth to be baptized. Oh what an awesome sound to hear the hymn ‘Yes Lord’ being sung and hummed as the youth made their way up the escalator to the baptismal room. What a memorable moment to see youth be baptized by Tonéx and come out of the water ANEW. View the clip
On Saturday night the service was packed full of anxious children, teens and young adults. Everyone was anxiously awaiting and wondering what will happen tonight. Tonex leads the crowd to a rock rhythm version of ‘You Are an Awesome God’ as he prepared their hearts and mind to receive the Word View the clip.
