Bishop Weeks is the Pastor of New Destiny Fellowship (formerly Greater Bethel Apostolic Temple) located in Wilmington, Delaware. The reason for the church's name change, as Bishop Weeks so eloquently puts it, is to have a name that speaks to our destiny -- the direction we want to go. As our mentors, Bishop Weeks and First Lady, Dr. Leona Brown Weeks have shown love from the very beginning. Without love all of the works we do are as “sounding brass and a tinkling cymbal.” Bishop Weeks is a pastor who not only preaches and teaches about love, he also demonstrates it. Next to the Lord Jesus Christ, Bishop Weeks as pastor is the best example one could have.

Bishop Weeks is a great man of faith, who has been pastoring for over twenty years. He heeded to the call of God “Go to Wilmington, Delaware and start a church.” Of course, everyone thought he was hearing things! The call would mean moving a thousand miles to begin a church from nothing. “Yes Lord.”

Bishop Weeks has the greatest wife on this side of Glory (our First Lady) Dr. Leona Brown Weeks. She never complains and has been by Bishop’s side from the very beginning. Bishop Weeks states, “She is more than half of my success -- she is the apple of my eye.”

Bishop Weeks enjoys pastoring even when he is away traveling. As a good shepherd would, he makes sure that his flock continues to be fed. He is a pastor who is not intimidated. Bishop Weeks loves to encourage young ministers and has a heart for new pastors and their spouses. He always pushes the other person to the next level.

As a pastor who is engulfed in God’s Word, the revelation given to him can only come through well spent devotional time with God Himself. New Destiny Fellowship is a blessed congregation to have such a blessed man as a pastor. Although Bishop Weeks is amongst the scholars and has held recognizable leadership offices, has traveled the world and been give noticable honor, he is still a very humble man of God. Many have stated “Bishop Weeks is so down to earth, are you sure he is the pastor?” Yes, that is just the way he is. From very humble beginnings to greatness and success, through it all - Bishop Weeks still remains pastor, leader, mentor and a good friend.

Bishop Weeks is a well-known seminarist and speaker on both the national and international level. He is well known for his administrative and mentoring genius. He loves to minister in the area of relationships, and is well sought after in this realm of ministry.

One of Bishop Weeks’ passions is to train and mentor leaders, ministers and new pastors and their spouses. TWW, Sr. Ministries has annual Ministerial and Leadership Conferences which address these concerns and interests.

Internationally, Bishop Weeks has ministered all over the world. His most recent missionary trips to India and Africa were dynamic, with outstanding and progressive reports. Presently, there are approximately 200 churches in Kenya, Uganda and Tanzania, Africa that have come under Bishop Weeks’ spiritual umbrella. Bishop Weeks and his missionary team have many successful, yet humbling, stories to tell. Bishop Weeks will soon be traveling to London in the fall and will be doing another conference in Africa in February of 2001.

Bishop Weeks' vision for energizing the entire Christian world for global soul saving is crystallized in the Praise Power Celebration experience. He has been known to stop in the middle of a service and make an altar call. During any part of a service, Celebrants can be witnessing souls being baptized right in the same sanctuary that service is being held in. "I believe the Christian Conference is never complete without at least one soul accepting or returning to the Lord as their savior," mentions Bishop Weeks.

As an extension of the Celebrations, Bishop has begun the Kingdom Key Ministerial and Leadership Conference. He decided to host this conference because he wanted to focus on the tooling of the ministry in soul saving. His travels have yielded many requests from ministers, pastors, missionaries, and evangelists all over the world who desire to focus on the soul saving efforts. From the development preparing sermons to training altar workers, nothing is left unturned in this intense 36 hour conference.

Bishop Weeks is also the host and founder of PPN (the Praise Power Network) a non-stop, cyberspace network for Christian entertainment, news and ministry, located at www.praisepower.org. Bishop Weeks also is the host of the TWW, SR. Ministries sponsored “Kingdom Keys” television program through Satellite Channel 373 (Direct TV) viewed every Wednesday.
