I'm writing just to say THANK YOU for Praise Power. I have been coming to PPC for the past three years and
have grown tremendously in the Lord. Most of all I would also like to commend you and your staff for all the HARD work and well planned services & seminars.
Evangelist Mamie Gamble was a great help to me the few times I had to call and make changes to our registration.
The Praise Power shuffle was part of my agenda this year. The Word of God went forth like never before.
We bought a bus from from Stamford, CT with 33 people and each one, from the youngest being 10 to the oldest being 62 had a wonderful time in the Lord. The 10 yr. old is ready to come back. The Children's Ministry staff was excellent with the children, and to even take them on a field trip just blew me away.
It was truly a Celebration of Jesus.
Needless to say we are planning for PPC 2001 in PA.

I just recently came from Praise Power 2000; I want to commend Bishop Thomas Wesley Weeks, Sr. and his entire staff on a job well done. I have been coming to Praise Power for the past (3) years and this year was the most organized and well formatted Conference. Example, the way the classes were structured, new ministers that were not necessarily "Big Names" - or should I say, well known to me. The time management that was obviously presented to each speaker, prior to them coming to the pulpit. IThe way you all had our packets ready and everything was so in order. In the past years, I hated waiting an hour and a half before the speaker arrived to the pulpit, because it was totally out of order and ultimately killed my spirit. The ushers were truly a blessing as well; they always greeted my friends and I with a smile and kind gestures on where to sit. I also noticed the nurse on the stage, I could tell that she was truly walking in her calling. You can tell when "the joy of the Lord is someone's strength."
Now to what really blessed my soul, this was a "WORD" filled conference. I mean, all I received was nothing but the true word of God. Good teaching an explaining - just a thorough understanding. It was not a lot of hooping and hollering - just "what thus saith the Lord." It was clear to me, that if I continue to error - it's not because of lack of knowledge. All of the speakers brought each person up to another level in Christ. It showed me that through Christ, God Leads you to the best people to proclaim this Gospel. That Dr. Walter Thompson, had me shouting and recognizing where I had errored for so many years. I have now learned how to pray "with an attitude of success". David Evans "The hidden Telos" was awesome. I truly see why the Book of Genesis is our spiritual base on which all principals of life are built. It was just so good - I can't tell it all.
My final point to expound upon, at the beginning of the conference I purchased a tape from the "Tape Ministry". The video was $5.00 and I gave the lady a $50.00 bill. I was so busy talking to some friends that I forgot to get my change. I then went in to hear Dr. Ione Locke. When she asked for the offering, I was going to give $20.00, then I realized that all I had was (two) $100.00 bills. Keep in mind, I brought only $250.00 to the conference with me - so I know, that I had forgotten to retrieve my change from the Tape Ministry. I said a quick prayer and went to the counter and explained to the lady what had happened. I informed her the if she didn't believe me - it was ok, but the word says "you have not because you ask not". And I was being totally honest, I did not get my change. Don't you know, she had only (one) $50.00 bill in her draw - which she had given to the other person who was (taking cash only) for the videos. The lady said, you just gave me a $50.00 bill out of your drawer - so I know she must be telling the truth. To God Be The Glory, she gave me the remainder of my change - which was $45.00. Needless to say, I was so over joyed that God had given me favor with her. I was overwhelmed by what my eyes had seen and my ears had heard. Everytime I think about that experience, I just get so full. I can't thank you enough for sponsoring "Praise Power". I am from Stamford, Connecticut and I came down with 33 people on a charted bus. I look forward to coming to Philadelphia next year and hopefully we will bring more people. This thing is so good - we can't keep it to ourselves.

Bishop Bloomer, unbeknowing, prophesied to my husband (an ordained elder) and everything that he preached (and demonstrated on stage with his assistants) was exactly what is going on in my husband's ministry. My husband said that it was only by the divine intervention of God that he was at your conference and not in our Sunday morning service.
We will watch, with anticipation, and wait for Praise Power 2001. We've already placed the dates on our calendar and plan on being there.
